| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Andorra, quartered and surmounted by a mural crown, occupies the center of the field, flanked by ornate laurel branches. The denomination '5 D.' is inscribed to the lower left and right of the arms respectively. The circular legend around the periphery reads 'JOAN D.M. BISBE D'URGELL I PRINCEP D'ANDORRA', identifying the Episcopal Co-Prince, with the date '2000' appearing in the lower exergual area.
