| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular silver coin features the coat of arms of Andorra centrally placed, depicting the traditional quartered shield with the mitre and crozier, the three pales of Aragon, the two bulls, and the four pales, surmounted by an ornate scrollwork surround. The motto ribbon beneath the shield bears the Latin legend VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR. Below the arms, the denomination 5 D., the issuer name PRINCIPAT D'ANDORRA, the date 2013, and the fineness mark AG 925 are inscribed in the field, all set within an elaborately engraved decorative border of foliate and baroque scrollwork typical of the series design. |
