| Mô tả mặt sau | The reverse is framed by an elaborate arabesque border of scrolling foliage and decorative motifs. Within this ornamental surround, a multi-line English commemorative legend in script lettering occupies the upper field, reading 'The 25th Anniversary of the Issuance of the Kuwaiti Currency April, 1986.' The central scene depicts a traditional Kuwaiti dhow under sail on open water, accompanied by a perched falcon to the right and a fortified building to the left. A globe displaying a map of Kuwait and the surrounding region appears at the lower left. The denomination 'Five Dinars' is inscribed in English script lettering along the lower margin. |

| Thông tin bổ sung |
Kuwait's 1986 five-dinar silver piece was issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait during a period when the country was navigating considerable regional pressure — the Iran-Iraq War was entering its most destructive phase, and Gulf states were quietly reinforcing institutions and symbols of financial stability. The Central Bank had only been established in 1969, replacing the Kuwait Currency Board, and commemorative silver issues of this kind were deliberate assertions of monetary maturity for a still-young institution.
Mintage figures for this type were modest, consistent with CBK policy on collector issues throughout the 1980s.
