| Reverse description | Central device features a large crescent enclosing the emblem of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference — a stylised globe with interlaced geometric ornament — rendered in bold relief. Surrounding the central motif is the Quranic inscription إن هذه أمتكم أمة واحدة ('Verily, this brotherhood of yours is a single brotherhood'). The Arabic conference legend مؤتمر القمة الإسلامي الخامس arcs across the upper field, while trilingual legends reading FIFTH ISLAMIC SUMMIT CONFERENCE – KUWAIT to the left and CINQUIÈME CONFÉRENCE ISLAMIQUE AU SOMMET – KOWEIT to the right flank the central device.
