| Obverse description | Central device depicts a traditional Kuwaiti dhow (boom) under full sail, rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished field, enclosed within a raised inner circle. The Arabic legend بَنك الكُوَيت المَركزي arcs around the upper periphery, while the English legend CENTRAL BANK OF KUWAIT curves along the lower border, both separated from the central device by a plain raised ring. The overall design evokes Kuwait's historic maritime heritage. |
