Descrizione del dritto	A minaret vignette at left, with the Kuwaiti state arms — a shield bearing a dhow — at upper right, all set against a multicolour guilloche underprint. Arabic inscriptions identify the Central Bank of Kuwait and the denomination across the centre, with the issuing authority legend and legal text below. Numeral 5 appears in each lower corner, and a geometric rosette ornament is placed at lower centre.

Descrizione del rovescio	The Seif Palace, seat of the Amir's administration, rendered in a detailed architectural vignette occupying the centre-left of the note, with a reflecting pool in the foreground. At right, an intaglio portrait medallion appears within a fine-line guilloche frame, flanked by the numeral 5 at each corner. The English legends 'Central Bank of Kuwait' and 'Five Dinars' are inscribed at top and lower right respectively, with a geometric rosette ornament at lower centre.
