The 1980 series marked a deliberate consolidation of Tunisian note design after years of incremental changes since independence. Banque de France handled printing throughout much of the BCT's early decades — a relationship rooted in practical infrastructure rather than political convenience, as Tunisia lacked domestic intaglio printing capacity.
P#75 is among the more frequently encountered notes of the series in circulated grades, consistent with its role as a workhorse denomination in everyday commerce during a period of moderate inflation.
