备注

Jordan's P#19 series spans an unusually long issue window — 1976 through 1992 — during which the country weathered the 1989 currency crisis triggered largely by the collapse of Petra Bank and a broader debt emergency that forced the government into IMF negotiations and caused the dinar to lose roughly half its value against the dollar within months. Notes of this type circulated through that devaluation intact, since Jordan maintained the existing series rather than issuing emergency replacements.

Thomas De La Rue held the printing contract continuously through this period, a relationship going back to the earliest Jordanian issues of the 1950s.
