Reverse description A forward-facing draped bust of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, the German cooperative movement pioneer, depicted wearing spectacles and a bow tie, centered in the field. The circumferential legend '· FRIEDRICH WILHELM RAIFFEISEN ·' arcs along the upper periphery in bold Latin lettering. His birth and death years '1818' and '1888' are inscribed in the lower field to either side of a central dash, commemorating the 150th anniversary of his birth. The portrait is rendered in fine detail, capturing Raiffeisen's characteristic physiognomy with naturalistic precision.
