The word 'BANKNOTE' appears along the top border, flanked by numeral '5' counters in each upper corner. The centre field carries the large intaglio denomination text 'FÜNF / DEUTSCHE MARK' above the issuer inscription and date, while a bold guilloche rosette with the numeral '5' occupies the right panel; a smaller scalloped '5' vignette is placed at the lower left, with the serial number printed in red. |
