Obverse description	The left half of the note carries an intaglio vignette of a farmer guiding a water buffalo through a flooded rice paddy, rendered in fine engraved line work against a salmon-red guilloche underprint. Numeral "5" cornerpieces with ornate scroll borders frame all four corners, while the serial number and series prefix appear in red letterpress at centre. Two manuscript signatures appear below, captioned THỦ-QUỸ TRUNG-ƯƠNG and TỔNG-KIỂM-TRA respectively, with the denomination NĂM ĐỒNG in large bold type to the right.
