| Beschrijving keerzijde | A dynamic figure of a male sprinter in full stride occupies the central field, depicted in high relief against a polished background. Behind the athlete, a stylized flame motif in low relief evokes the Olympic torch. The composition is contained within a raised inner circle. The legend XXVI SUMMER OLYMPICS arcs along the upper periphery, and ATLANTA 1996 is inscribed along the lower rim. The engraver's initials LB appear to the lower right of the central design. |

Issued to mark the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, this piece belongs to a wave of small-format silver commemoratives produced for Turks and Caicos Islands throughout the 1990s — a period when the territory's commemorative program was essentially a licensing operation, with designs contracted out and coins sold primarily to collectors rather than circulated. The islands had no practical need for a 5 Crown denomination in everyday commerce.
