Obverse description Black intaglio print on a multicolour guilloche underprint, with red serial numbers. At centre, a vignette reproduces the composition of Primer Grito de Independencia (1957) by Salvadoran painter Luis Vergara Ahumada, in which Father Delgado and fellow patriots are shown rallying the populace at the first declaration of independence.
