| 正面描述 | A detailed relief depiction of a Mandarin duck (Aix galericulata) shown in right profile, standing in the center of the field. The bird is rendered with fine naturalistic detail, including its characteristic crest and plumage. A bare branching tree motif appears in the upper left background. The Cyrillic legend МАНДАРИНКА arcs along the upper periphery, while the Latin scientific name Aix galericulata, flanked by two dots, curves along the lower periphery. The MasterVision (МВ) mintmaster's mark appears in the lower right field. |

MasterVision operates in the grey zone of numismatics — a private Russian producer issuing fantasy pieces with no governmental authority behind them. These are not legal tender by any definition, and no sovereign mint was involved in their production. Collectors either find this liberating or disqualifying, and the market reflects that split.
The chervonets denomination has genuine historical roots — Soviet chervontsy of the 1920s were gold-backed instruments introduced by Gosbank to stabilize a currency wrecked by civil war. Attaching that name to a privately struck silver piece is purely decorative nostalgia.
