Obverse description Proof-finish field with a deeply mirrored black background. A greater noctule bat (Nyctalus lasiopterus) is depicted in dynamic flight to the right, its wings fully extended, with a bare deciduous tree branch visible in the right field and a crescent moon with stars in the upper left field. The curved Cyrillic legend ГИГАНТСКАЯ ВЕЧЕРНИЦА arcs along the upper border, while the Latin scientific name Nyctalus lasiopterus curves along the lower border. The MasterVision (MV) mint mark appears in the lower right field near the bat's body.
