Reverse description Selective gold-plated wreath of crossed maple boughs, tied at the base with a ribbon bow, encircling the denomination and country name, as originally designed by William Henry James Blakemore for the pre-Confederation coinage series. A small imperial crown, also gold-plated, is positioned at the top of the wreath above the denomination. The inscriptions '5 CENTS', 'CANADA', and the date '2015' are arranged in three lines within the open centre of the wreath, struck in the polished silver field.
