Opmerkingen

Fort Rucker, established as a permanent Army installation in Alabama in 1955, became the primary helicopter pilot training base in the United States — a role it holds to this day. N.C.O. Club scrip of this kind was part of a broader military post currency system designed to keep money circulating within the base economy, preventing local off-post spending that could drain wages from the installation's own facilities.

The fourteen-year window on this issue is wide enough that individual notes are difficult to date precisely without supplementary documentation.
