In the right middle ground, the iconic Memorial Arch of the Royal Military College of Canada at Kingston, Ontario, is depicted in finely engraved architectural detail. The dates 1876-2001, commemorating the 125th anniversary of the college's founding, appear in the lower right field, accompanied by the engraver's initials GTL. The denomination 5 CENTS arcs along the upper border and CANADA curves along the lower border, both within a beaded rim. |
