Obverse description Fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, bare-headed with a diadem, rendered in high relief by Ian Rank-Broadley. The Queen's hair is elaborately dressed with the diadem set atop curled coiffure. The engraver's initials IRB appear on the truncation of the neck. The circumferential legend reads QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND, arranged around the upper and lower periphery of the field.
