| Reverse description | A finely detailed effigy of a queen angelfish (Holacanthus ciliaris) depicted in left profile, occupying the majority of the field, with clearly rendered scales, dorsal and caudal fins. The denomination FIVE CENTS arcs along the upper periphery in bold serif lettering, while the date appears in two rows at the lower portion of the field beneath the fish. The design is the work of engraver Michael Rizzello and showcases the distinctive oval body form characteristic of the species. |
