| Reverse description | A centrally positioned pineapple (Ananas comosus) in high relief occupies the main field, its crown of spiky leaves projecting toward the upper portion of the coin. Flanking the base of the pineapple on either side are decorative scrolled garland branches, elegantly curling outward to fill the lower field. The date 1973 is inscribed in two parts to the left and right of the pineapple's midsection, while the denomination legend FIVE CENTS arcs along the upper periphery. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
