Obverse description	Central round hole flanked by two symmetrical curved palm fronds or decorative foliate sprays extending outward from the hole toward the rim. The numeral '5' appears above the hole in the upper field. A circular legend reads 'EAST AFRICA & UGANDA PROTECTORATES' around the upper periphery, with the date '1907' positioned at the base between two raised dots. The design is executed in a clean, utilitarian style with milled border.
