| Obverse description | Central field bears the crowned coat of arms of the Netherlands Antilles, depicting a shield divided horizontally, the upper half bearing horizontal lines and the lower half charged with six five-pointed stars arranged in two rows representing the six constituent islands. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown with a cross finial. The circular legend 'NEDERLANDSE ANTILLEN' arcs around the upper periphery, while the Latin motto 'LIBERTATE UNANIMUS' curves around the lower portion of the shield. The date appears in the exergue at the bottom of the coin. |
