| 备注 |
Sadurní d'Anoia — better known today as Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the centre of Catalan cava production — issued a series of small emergency fractional notes during the Spanish Civil War under the Republican municipal council. These vales or bitllets locals filled the void left by a near-total collapse of metallic coinage, hoarded almost immediately once war began in 1936. Municipal emissions of this kind were technically irregular but tacitly permitted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, which had broader problems to manage.
At 42 × 27 mm, this is among the smallest paper money formats produced in the conflict — the thick card stock was a practical response to the note's tiny dimensions, giving it enough body to survive brief but intense circulation.
