| 备注 |
During the Spanish Civil War, the collapse of small coinage circulation prompted thousands of municipalities, shops, and cooperatives across Catalonia to issue their own fractional paper — these so-called *vals* or *moneda de necessitat* filled a genuine transactional void. Merceria J. Regás was a haberdashery, and its scrip was accepted locally as change within the shop's commercial network. The AL (Associació de Col·leccionistes de Bitllets) reference places it firmly within the documented Catalan emergency issues, though survival rates for small-denomination commercial scrip from this period are highly uneven — many were redeemed and destroyed, others simply lost.
