| Reverse description | Central round perforation flanked by a tall fasces or torch motif to the left and elaborate Art Nouveau foliate branches curling symmetrically on either side of the field. The large numeral 5 appears prominently to the upper right of the hole, with the abbreviation C.MES indicating centimes to its right. The date 1910 is inscribed in the lower portion of the field beneath the central perforation, flanked by additional decorative foliage. The engraver's signature A.PATEY is present within the design. The reverse continues the refined Art Nouveau aesthetic consistent with Patey's official essay coinage work. |
