Obverse description Bare-headed juvenile bust of Napoléon II facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair, occupying the central field. The portrait reflects the young age of the nominal emperor, engraved in the neoclassical style characteristic of Jean-Pierre Droz. The circular legend reads NAPOLEON II to the left and EMPEREUR to the right, separated by small decorative stops. The whole is enclosed within a plain raised rim with fine dentilation.
