Obverse description The obverse features a plain field bearing six lines of Arabic script arranged centrally within two flanking olive branches. The legend reads the name and title of Muhammad al-Nasir, Bey of Tunis, followed by the denomination '5 Centimes' in Arabic numerals and script. The Hijri date appears in Arabic numerals at the base of the central inscription. A continuous dotted border runs along the rim, framing the entire design.
