| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Grand Duke William IV of Luxembourg (1852–1912), who reigned from 1905 until his death in 1912. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and collar. The circular legend surrounds the bust, with the date 1908 flanked by two points positioned below the portrait, and the engraver's initials A.M. incused beneath the neck truncation. |
