| Obverse description | Within a central raised oval cartouche, three city names — ALAIS, MARSEILLE, and GAP — are inscribed in three horizontal lines across the field. Surrounding the cartouche, arranged in a circular legend along the inner rim, are the names of six additional cities: NICE, AVIGNON, NIMES, ARLES, TOULON, and DIGNE, each separated by raised dots. The overall design is plain and typographic, without figurative imagery, set within the scalloped flan with fourteen notched lobes forming the coin's border. |

| Reverse description | The face value '5c.' and the date '1921' are inscribed centrally within the field, enclosed by a raised circle. Surrounding this central circle, a circular legend reads 'CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE' above and 'RÉGION PROVENÇALE' below, separated by raised dot stops. The maker's name 'THEVENON' appears within the legend. At 12 o'clock, outside the inner circle, silver hallmarks consisting of a rhombus and a boar's head guarantee mark are present, as required by French assay regulations for silver trade tokens. |
