| 正面描述 | A single upright wheat ear (épi de blé) occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief with detailed grain and husk. A stylized wave or stem motif curves beneath the ear, with a small mintmark flower visible at the base. The legend REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE curves around the upper and lateral periphery in an elegant cursive script, characteristic of the Guilleminet design. |

Piéforts are produced by the Monnaie de Paris as institutional presentation pieces, struck at double or greater thickness on polished planchets using standard dies. This gold example uses the wheat-ear ("épi") design introduced on the aluminium-bronze circulation issue — a postwar design intended to signal agricultural reconstruction rather than monarchical or republican iconography.
The GEM reference places this firmly within the collector series documented by Gadoury and Elie-Michel. Very few gold piéforts from this period were struck, and most went directly to official recipients or the Monnaie's own archives.
