正面描述 Right-facing draped bust of Prince Giorgio I of Seborga occupies the central field, rendered in low relief with visible beard and period costume including a sash or decorative collar. The peripheral legend reads GIORGIO I PRINCIPE DI SEBORGA, running clockwise from lower left to upper right. The date 1995 appears in the lower exergual area, flanked by decorative stops, with the mint mark MINT-SB and the historical reference date 1666 incorporated into the legend.

附加信息

Seborga is a small Italian village near the French border whose residents voted in 1995 to assert the territory's purported independence based on an 18th-century clerical oversight — specifically, the claim that the Principality of Seborga was never formally included in the 1713 Treaty of Utrecht nor any subsequent Italian unification documents. Giorgio Carbone, a flower grower elected "prince" by the townspeople, presided over the issuance of this coinage as part of a broader effort to establish the trappings of statehood. The coins were never legal tender anywhere recognized.
