Obverse description The crowned coat of arms of San Marino occupies the center of the obverse, depicting three towers atop Monte Titano on a pointed shield, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is flanked by laurel and oak branches forming a wreath, with a scroll at the base bearing the motto LIBERTAS. The circular legend REPUBBLICA DI S. MARINO runs along the upper periphery, and the Rome mint mark R appears in the lower field below the wreath.

Reverse description The reverse presents a bold, unadorned design with the numeral 5 at the top of the field, followed by the denomination CENTESIMI in the center, and the date of issue below. Beneath the date, a horizontal fasces — the bundle of rods bound around an axe, a symbol of authority associated with the Italian Fascist period — is depicted centrally in the lower field. The overall composition is simple and typographically dominant, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.
