Beschrijving voorzijde At center, the Bolivian national coat of arms depicted as an oval cartouche surmounted by a condor with outstretched wings; the shield is flanked by crossed flags and military trophies including cannons, rifles, and axes, with rays emanating behind. Nine five-pointed stars are arranged in a curved row beneath the arms. The circular legend REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA runs along the upper periphery in Latin script, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.

Aanvullende informatie

Bolivia's monetary system was in active renegotiation during the late 1860s, with legislators debating the practicality of a decimalized small-denomination silver coinage to replace the fractional real system. This 1868 pattern was part of that exploratory process — produced to test specifications rather than for release, and almost certainly never submitted to a full legislative approval cycle.

KM#Pn14 is known in extremely limited numbers, as patterns of this period rarely survived outside official or diplomatic hands.
