Obverse description	The national arms of El Salvador displayed at center, featuring the traditional triangular escutcheon supported by laurel and palm branches, surmounted by a radiating sun and liberty cap above the shield. The circular legend REPUBLICA DEL SALVADOR arcs along the upper periphery. In the lower exergue, the fineness designation 835, mint mark C.A.M., and date 1892 are inscribed in sequence.
