| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national coat of arms of Honduras at center, depicting an oval shield bearing a volcanic mountain range rising from the sea beneath a radiant sky, encircled by an oval cartouche inscribed REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS. The shield is surmounted by a mural crown and flanked on each side by a quiver of arrows and a broadaxe bound together, with a pine tree to the lower left and an oak tree to the lower right.
