| 备注 |
The Banco Provincial de Santa Fe was one of several Argentine provincial banks that issued their own currency during the 1860s and 1870s, before the national government progressively curtailed that authority. This fractional denomination — five centavos fuertes — speaks to a chronic small-change shortage that plagued interior commercial centers like Rosario throughout this period, where coin circulation was persistently inadequate for everyday retail transactions.
Printed locally by Litografía y Fuentes in Rosario rather than sent abroad to a major security printer, the production quality reflects the practical limitations of provincial lithographic work of the time.
