Reverse description The denomination numeral '5' is rendered in large, bold relief at the center of the field, dominating the design. The curved legend CINCO CENTAVOS arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering. Two small sprigs of laurel or grain flank the base of the numeral at lower left and right. The four-digit date appears in the lower exergual area, beneath the sprigs, completing the reverse design in a clean and utilitarian style.
