背面描述	A ceiba tree (Ceiba pentandra), the national tree of Guatemala, is depicted in full growth at the centre of the field, its broad canopy rendered in fine relief above a short trunk and exposed roots with foliage at the base. The denomination '5' appears prominently to the right of the tree, with 'CENTAVOS' inscribed below it. The patriotic motto 'LIBRE CREZCA FECUNDO' (Free Grow Fertile) curves along the lower periphery, with reeded borders framing the entire design.

附加信息	Guatemala's 5 centavos silver coinage of this period was authorized under the monetary framework established after the 1944 October Revolution, which ousted dictator Jorge Ubico's successor and brought Juan José Arévalo to power. The new government maintained silver in small denomination coinage longer than most Central American neighbors, who had largely abandoned it by the late 1940s. KM#255 was struck at the Guatemala City mint.
