| 备注 |
The Seventh Military District guerrilla currency was authorized under the broader U.S.-sanctioned emergency note program for the Philippine Islands following the Japanese occupation. These notes circulated in areas of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago where conventional currency had been rendered unreliable or unavailable, and local commanders were given authority to issue scrip to maintain some functional economy within their zones of resistance.
S781 is among the lower denominations in the series — useful for small transactions but also the notes most likely to survive heavy daily use in poor condition. The paper quality in guerrilla issues varied substantially depending on what was locally available.
