Reverse description Printed in brown. A central oval vignette contains a helmeted female head in profile, representing Athena as an allegory of Liberty, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. Symmetrical guilloche scrollwork and repeated numeral 5 ornaments fill the corners and borders, with the imprint of the American Bank Note Company, New York at the lower margin.
