| 备注 |
Ghana's 2017 banknote series introduced QR codes as a security feature — an unusually early adoption for a West African central bank, reflecting the country's relatively advanced mobile payment infrastructure and a persistent problem with counterfeiting that had dogged the cedi through the 2010s. Thomas De La Rue has printed Ghanaian currency since the Bank of Ghana's earliest note issues, a relationship that has run largely unbroken for decades.
