| Obverse description | The obverse features a right-facing bare-headed effigy of King Charles III set within a raised circular frame, the portrait rendered in moderate relief against a brushed field. Radiating lines emanate from the central medallion across the skull-shaped flan, extending into the cranial and jaw sections of the overall design. The Ghanaian coat of arms appears below the portrait at centre.
