Reverse description A traditional Gambian pirogue sailing vessel depicted facing slightly left of center, its large billowing lateen sail prominently filling the left portion of the field, with detailed rigging and mast rendered in fine relief. To the right of the vessel, the large numeral '5' occupies the central field, with the denomination legend 'BUTUTS' inscribed along the upper arc in Latin script, and the Arabic equivalent 'بتوت' rendered in a curved arc along the lower right field. The design evokes the River Gambia's historic maritime heritage.
