Obverse description	The right-facing portrait of Emperor Haile Selassie I in full military uniform occupies the right portion of the note, while a vignette of Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa — with its terminal building and aircraft on the tarmac — fills the left. Printed in brown tones over a guilloche underprint, the note carries the issuer's name in both Amharic and English along the upper and lower borders, with serial numbers appearing in two positions.
