Reverse description Central design features a bold cross pattée in high relief, with the date numerals disposed in the four quarters formed by the arms of the cross: the digits 1 and 8 appear in the upper left and upper right quadrants respectively, and 0 and 0 in the lower left and lower right quadrants, together reading 1800. The plain, unadorned field and the cast finish give the reverse a characteristically rough but legible appearance typical of Indo-Portuguese bazaruco coinage of this period.
