| 正面描述 | Central motif featuring the crowned Portuguese royal arms (quinas shield) displayed beneath a mural crown, cast in low relief within a plain round field. The mint mark letters D and A appear flanking the shield to the left and right respectively, denoting the Damão mint. The design is characteristic of the crude cast coinage produced for Portuguese India during the reign of King José I. |

| 背面描述 | A bold Cross of the Order of Christ (Templar cross) occupies the entire reverse field, with equal arms terminating in slightly splayed ends, rendered in low relief typical of cast coinage. Four small pellets or dots are positioned in the angles between the arms of the cross. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or additional inscription. The overall style is consistent with the rough, cast fabric of Portuguese Indian colonial issues of the mid-eighteenth century. |
