| 正面描述 | Forward-facing effigy of King Rama III (Nangklao) in high relief, depicted in traditional Thai royal regalia with an elaborately embroidered collar and ceremonial robes. The dual-monarch inscription on this issue — pairing Rama IX with Rama III — marks the Bangkok bicentennial series, struck to commemorate 200 years of the Chakri dynasty's capital. Rama III, who reigned from 1824 to 1851, oversaw the last significant period of Thai isolationism before Western treaty pressure forced open the kingdom's ports under his successor.
The bicentennial program produced multiple denominations, each paired with a different Chakri king. Y#184 is among the more frequently encountered pieces from the set in circulated grades.
