| Obverse description | The central field features the interlaced royal cypher of King Christian X of Denmark, composed of the letter 'C' encircling a bold Roman numeral 'X', rendered in a classical interlaced monogram style. Surmounting the cypher is a detailed royal crown with beaded arches and jewelled band. The date is divided to either side of the monogram, with the year split across the lower left and right of the crown. The circular legend, reading 'ÍSLANDS KONUNGUR' (King of Iceland), runs along the upper periphery, with 'ÍSLANDS' at the left and 'KONUNGUR' at the right. |
