备注	By 1987, Argentina's national currency was disintegrating under hyperinflation, and several provinces responded by issuing their own emergency paper. Salta's 5,000 Pesos Argentinos note is one of these provincial quasi-currencies — legally questionable instruments that circulated locally because there was simply nothing else available. The national Pesos Argentinos denomination itself was abolished the following year when the Austral replacement series collapsed into its own spiral. Provincial issues from this period are poorly documented. Print runs were rarely published, and surviving records from the issuing authorities are incomplete.
